Building Surveyor (Project Manager)
The role is a permanent position in a specialised education consultancy based in Bury St. Edmunds. The company is creating a new office and needs a Building Surveyor to contribute to projects with schools and educational facilities.
Overview
You will work with a variety of clients in the education sector, from Head Teachers to Receptionists, on projects ranging from £50,000 to £2 million, covering roofing, windows and refurbishment. The role does not involve party wall or dilapidations, and can be tailored to your strengths.
Responsibilities
* Drive building survey projects successfully and timely.
* Coordinate project activities, manage budgets and timelines.
* Provide valuation and best practice advice to client teams.
* Document findings and support project reporting.
Qualifications
* Proven ability to manage projects and deliver on schedule.
* Strong organisational and people skills.
* In-depth knowledge of valuation practices.
* Attention to detail.
* Relevant work experience; RICS accreditation not required, but experience is essential.
