Job overview
This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to join the Physiotherapy Team at the Royal Surrey as a rotational inpatient physiotherapy technical instructor.
The applicant must have previous experience in the role of Physiotherapy Assistant / Physiotherapy Technical Instructor within acute NHS services and it would be ideal for someone who does not have HCPC registration.
Candidates require excellent written and spoken English as well as excellent team working skills, adaptability and flexibility.
There is a requirement for flexible working as the service operates over 7 days and bank holidays on a rostered system.

To assist the qualified physiotherapy staff in delivering a high quality and effective physiotherapy service to patients in relevant clinical areas.

Person specification
Qualifications
* GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above (or equivalent)
* Knowledge and experience equivalent to NVQ 3 in a relevant specialty i.e. Health care
Knowledge
* Relevant physiotherapy assistant experience
* Experience of working within the NHS
* Able to determine and progress a treatment plan/goals to discharge effectively
* Able to perform a basic assessment according to department guidelines
* Successful completion of PTA competencies
