Associate Architect
Cambridge (office based) | £55,000+
A major new science scheme has just landed at a well-established Cambridge studio, and they need an Associate to help run it.
You would be on the project from RIBA Stage 1 through to completion. On a build of this scale, this is rare, and it is a real chance to shape something significant.
Why this Associate Architect role
* Run a large, technically demanding science project from the early stages, not pick it up halfway through.
* Step straight into a senior seat. Two directors lead the team and there is currently no senior associate above the role, so you would be a key figure from day one with the directors close by.
* A clear route up: director level next, with more potential for ambitious people further down the line.
* A specialist team inside a respected multidisciplinary studio that works across science, healthcare, education and living sectors.
* £55,000 and up, depending on experience. Room to move for the right person.
Associate Architect
* Manage and run live projects, owning delivery day to day.
* Drive the lab scheme through the technical stages, Stage 4 especially, to a high standard.
* Coordinate design, programme and detail across the team.
* Work directly with the two directors heading up the team.
Your experience as an Associate Architect
* UK project experience and a solid track record of running and managing projects.
* An architect or architectural technologist background. Both work here if you have project running experience.
* Lab or science-sector experience is a big bonus.
* Revit is preferred. If you are strong elsewhere and not quite there on Revit, they will train you up.
Message me the ‘CAMBRIDGE ASSOCIATE’ and I will send the full brief: salary detail, benefits, and the finer points on progression.
