The Role
The New Partnerships Advisor (NPA) will lead the implementation of strategies to engage and cultivate new, diverse, non-traditional donor relationships for Oxfam Programmes, including Gulf-based donors, Development Banks. Climate Funds, Innovative Financing focusing on mobilising funding for development and humanitarian projects.

An ideal candidate for the role will also be / have:
* Strong Experience and knowledge of donor account management – in building and nurturing partnerships with non-traditional development funding partners like Gulf Donors, Climate Funds, Innovative Financing, MDBs etc
* Experience in project development, research, donor relations, and/or international development.
* Excellent inter-personal skills with ability to influence, facilitate processes, and work as part of remotely based teams without direct line management authority. High calibre of networking, external representation, and negotiation skills
* Demonstrated experience in project coordination and management, particularly in managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
* Good understanding of the ethical screening process and conducting donor due diligence.
* Proven experience in building and maintaining partnerships, as well as securing benefits from negotiations with diverse partners.
* Strong business analysis and business case development ability, including demonstrated experience in developing business cases in development, humanitarian, or social enterprise settings.
* Strong financial modelling skills, including the ability to independently construct an income and cash flow model and run financial sensitivities.

We believe this role would work particularly well as a partially home-based assignment. For UK based colleagues, one to two days per week is common in the current team and aligns with OGB's hybrid working guidelines.
