Location: Wimborne, Verwood, and Bridport.
Actual Salary: £57,630 - £64,138 per annum (Grade 15)
This is a full-time, permanent position with a planned start date in September/October 2025.
We are seeking an exceptional individual to lead the Trust’s IT function. The post-holder will be responsible for shaping and delivering an IT strategy that meets the current and future needs of our schools, ensuring secure, cost-effective, and high-performing services.
This key leadership role involves strategic thinking and tactical operational delivery. Responsibilities include strategic planning, day-to-day operations, delivery of new services and solutions, and capacity planning to ensure the IT infrastructure meets the needs of the schools and Trust. The post-holder will work closely with school and central teams to ensure IT supports educational objectives, operational excellence, and that cyber security, digital learning, and IT service management are future-ready and resilient.
This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday, with potential out-of-hours work for issue resolution or project delivery. The role requires working on-site across our schools located from Bridport to Verwood in Dorset. A driving license and personal transport are essential.
