Position Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified and experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join the ANP Inpatient team within the Edinburgh Cancer Centre. The successful applicant will be a suitably qualified and experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) with a keen interest in Cancer Care and treatments. You will join an established ANP team that works across all tumour groups in multidisciplinary teams and supports the on‑call telephone triage team. The role is varied, with post holders actively involved in service development, offering a unique opportunity for nurses to further their career.
Responsibilities
* Provide advanced clinical care to patients across all tumour groups.
* Work within multidisciplinary teams and support the on‑call telephone triage team.
* Actively contribute to the development and improvement of the service.
Qualifications
* Registered Advanced Nurse Practitioner with relevant experience in Cancer Care.
* Possess a PVG Scheme membership/record; if not currently a member for the required regulatory group, an application to Disclosure Scotland must be completed before appointment.
* Due to legislative changes from 1 April 2025, the post may require a different level of criminal records check. The post is considered a regulated role and will be subject to joining the PVG scheme.
