As the Information Security Analyst at euNetworks, you will be responsible for safeguarding the organisation from Information Security threats by maintaining existing organisational measures as well as enhancing our organisation’s security governance, risk management, and compliance programmes and policies. The IS Analyst will collaborate closely with the Information Security Steering team and with cross-functional teams to ensure that our policies, processes, and controls align with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
What will you be doing?
* Manage and maintain the Information Security Management System (ISMS) in accordance with ISO 27001.
* Review and assess information security-related projects, identifying and analysing associated risks.
* Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for improvement.
* Coordinate external penetration testing to evaluate security vulnerabilities.
* Prepare and present monthly and quarterly reports on information security.
* Manage and update content for the information security awareness platform for employees and key suppliers, ensuring up-to-date training on information and cybersecurity best practices.
* Research and recommend security enhancements and improvements.
* Stay informed on the latest developments in information technology and security standards.
What do we want from you?
* Significant experience in Information Security and GRC
* Strong understanding of risk management methodologies and security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, CAF, COBIT, DORA) & ability to assess risks, identify vulnerabilities
* Familiarity with data privacy legislation such as GDPR, DPA
* Experience maintaining and auditing Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) in line with ISO 27001
* Customer service-oriented with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and work through security queries with non-technical colleagues.
* Analytical and creative thinking skills, with the ability to develop pragmatic solutions to customer requirements
* The ability to organise the daily work schedule and delegate where necessary.
* Strong verbal and written proficiency in English; fluency in German preferred but not essential
Ideally, we’d also like:
* Relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor
* Experience in Telecommunication or any other regulated industry (e.g. Financial Services, Insurance)
