They are currently seeking a dedicated Permanent Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team. This company takes pride in delivering quality residential projects across the region. Responsibilities
* Assist with the preparation and management of project budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and delivered within set parameters.
* Support the review and analysis of subcontractor and supplier quotations.
* Contribute to cost planning and value engineering initiatives for residential projects.
* Track and manage variations, ensuring all changes are properly documented and communicated.
* Assist in the procurement process and the timely issue of purchase orders and contracts.
* Coordinate with project teams to ensure accurate measurements, valuations, and reporting.
* Help prepare and submit interim and final accounts in accordance with project timelines.
Requirements
* Previous experience as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, preferably within the house building sector.
* Understanding of cost control, procurement, and contract administration.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Proficient in relevant software such as Asta Powerproject, CostX or equivalent.
* A proactive approach and a keen eye for detail.
* Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics.
