Key Responsibilities
* Assist solicitors with preparation and submission of Court of Protection applications.
* Draft legal documents, correspondence, and reports relevant to Court of Protection matters.
* Conduct legal research and gather supporting evidence for cases.
* Liaise with clients, their families, and other professionals to provide updates and gather information.
* Maintain accurate case files and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
* Support fee earners in managing deadlines and prioritising workloads.
Requirements
* Previous experience working in Court of Protection or related areas of law.
* Strong understanding of the Court of Protection process and relevant legislation.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work both independently and as part of a team.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems.
Working Arrangement
* Hybrid role: 3 days remote working, 2 days in the office (ideally Burnley or Preston).
