To support our growing business in the UK, we are looking for a new Area Sales Manager to focus on the East region.
We offer
A unique role where you will be responsible for nurturing and maintaining positive relationships with our professional partners. You will primarily work with dealers and installers, influencing them to see VELUX as the first choice solution for their customers.
In addition, you will:
1. Deliver sales excellence through effective execution of sales and marketing activities in collaboration with teammates.
2. Support our partners by understanding their goals and creating and identifying business opportunities to help them achieve these goals.
3. Develop and maintain win/win relationships with our partners, providing good sales support and advice.
This is a field-based role covering B, CV, & LE postcode areas, so ideally, you will be located in Birmingham and within easy travel distance of these areas.
You should expect to travel regularly within the region to meet with customers and partners.
Who We Are Looking For
You enjoy exploring new possibilities and working with various stakeholders, thanks to your advanced problem-solving skills. You are a great communicator with effective presentation skills, inspiring, and able to organize priorities efficiently.
You have an analytical mindset, capable of deriving insights from market trends. Additionally, you:
1. Bring sales experience from a field sales role, possibly (but not necessarily) from the construction industry.
2. Have experience working directly with B2B partners.
3. Are collaborative with a customer-oriented approach.
4. Are a good presenter and communicator.
5. Are motivated by performance and goal achievement.
6. Possess analytical skills and can work in a structured, organized manner to meet tight deadlines.
7. Are an influential negotiator and salesperson.
