About The Role:
Working within the Security team at Warwick Castle, this is a physical and varied role that will require quality customer service, time management, task ownership and the ability to think on your feet.
The shift pattern of this position is 7am – 7pm working 4 days on and then 4 days off, although flexibility is needed at times to fit operational requirements.
Main Responsibilities:
* Unlocking & locking site and attractions.
* Performing bag searches at guest entry point.
* Monitoring CCTV.
* Patrolling areas.
* Checking fire & intruder panel statuses.
* Incident response.
* Issuing and auditing keys and radios.
* Assisting with cash handling/movement as required.
* Follow site Code of Safe Working Practices & Standard Operating Procedures.
* Support wider Castle Operations as required / requested.
* Support with keeping First Aid kits stocked, as requested.
* Completing Security Reports and daily logs.
* Provide a Security presence on site.
* Perform daily safety checks of certain attractions.
* Professional communication on site Radios.
* Monitoring Asset alerts & completing Audits as required.
* Supporting staff & contractor sign-in.
* Ensure a smart, professional appearance at all times.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
* Sound understanding of basic IT programs such as Excel, Word & Teams. Training will be provided when using specialised software.
* Good level of numeracy and literacy is required.
* Previous security experience is required.
* SIA Door Supervisor licence is essential
* CCTV license is desirable
