You'll handle goods safely and efficiently; from checking, loading and delivering products across the Island, to daily vehicle checks and reporting of any faults/issues, to maintaining tidy storerooms. You will help load/unload trailers, ensure loads are secured and complying with H&S Regs. You may be required to assist furniture assembly.
You will operate a HGV Class 2 (Cat C) vehicle safely and carry out multi-drops or trunking deliveries as required, as well as house deliveries. You should be able to drive a forklift and may be required to drive a rigid truck to undertake deliveries, and will ensure any delivery paperwork/records are completed as required at the delivery points.Core skills required
