Your Role as a Weekend Care Assistant
You’ll be a trusted, familiar face that clients look forward to seeing each weekend. Your kindness and reliability will help them feel safe, valued, and supported.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting with personal care such as washing, dressing, and toileting
Assisting with medication reminders or administration
Preparing meals and snacks
Helping with light housekeeping to keep the home tidy and safe
Providing companionship and emotional reassurance
Encouraging independence and confidence in daily life Each client is unique — and you’ll have time to build real relationships rather than rushing between homes.
