About the role
We are looking to recruit an experienced Cleaner to work at our Alice Ingham Court housing scheme. Reporting to our Scheme Coordinator, cleaners must provide a first-class professional cleaning service to our customers, ensuring our schemes meet the needs of our customers to assist them in living happy, independent lives.
Responsibilities
* Cleaning and maintaining: Mats, Carpets, Paintwork, Floors, Furniture
* Cleaning scheme entrance areas and office spaces
* Maintaining communal living areas
* Maintaining the laundry room and toilets
* Cleaning empty flats and emptying internal and external bins
* Assisting customers and visitors with general queries
* Supporting the Scheme Coordinator with social events as required
What skills you need
* Experience of dealing with customers / members of the public on a face-to-face basis
* Experience of providing a cleaning service
* Knowledge of Health and Safety applicable to providing a cleaning service
* Effective communication skills
* Able to respond to emergency situations
