Hours: 22.5 per week

About the role:
We are currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Business Support Officer. NPT Skills & Training Unit operate within Neath Port Talbot and across South Wales, delivering a variety of training programmes. NPT Skills & Training are constantly developing their training provision and contracts.
The post holder will be funded for 1 year from commencement of post, to support a new project/initiative within the Skills & Training unit, to develop its business services. Therefore, the post holder will pay a crucial role in developing the project/initiative and supporting it to succeed.
As a Business Support Officer for the project/initiative, you will be required to independently manage day to day tasks related to the project/initiative such as management information systems and financial Support Systems through effective administration. The post will also require the post holder to support tutors with associated awarding body requirements for registering and certificating candidates and the invigilation of exams.
Your daily routine will require you to:
1. Manage all communication functions, such as calls, e-mail inboxes, web site enquiries, social media, dealing with internal queries and updating for external marketing and promotion.
2. Completing all course related booking information systems, registrations and certification requirements.
3. Managing finance related to the project/initiative such as course invoices/payments, procurement etc.
4. Provide admin support for the tutor $ú completion od ID checks, exam booking in process, exam invigilation, distributing results.
5. Manage all documentation associated to your role, ensuring that targets and deadlines are met timely.
About you:
You will need to have excellent skills at managing a wide variety of communication platforms, in particular having excellent customer facing/verbal/written communication skills.
Do you have:
6. Previous experience in a training/college/school setting and managing administration around exams and qualifications.
7. Experience at managing financial transactions and systems.
8. 4 GCSE&s (or equivalent/higher) including Maths and English grade C and above/Level 2.
9. Ann appropriate professional qualification such as an NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration, or able to demonstrate competence through experience.
