Salary: £55,000 per annum
Duties of a Registered Manager:
* Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the home in line with Ofsted regulations
* Ensure high standards of care, safety, and well-being for all children
* Oversee staff recruitment, training, supervision, and development
* Maintain compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and legislative requirements
* Develop and implement care plans tailored to each young person’s needs
* Monitor performance through audits, reviews, and inspections
* Build effective relationships with external professionals, families, and stakeholders
* Manage budgets, resources, and ensure the home operates efficiently
* Lead on crisis management, complaints, and serious incidents
* Promote a positive, child-focused culture that supports outcomes and independence.
As a Residential Manager you will need to possess the following skills and attributes:
* Recent experience working within the residential sector at a Registered Manager level within a Children Residential Service
* A “Good” or “Outstanding” grade within your recent OFSTED Inspections
* Exceptional management & leadership skills and a passion for providing high-quality care
* Diploma Level 3 or 4 in Residential Child Care (Children and Young Peoples Workforce) - or equivalent
* Diploma Level 5 Leadership and Management - or equivalent
