Class 2 Furniture Delivery Driver
Location: Doncaster
Pay Rate: £15.50 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time, Monday to Friday
We are recruiting on behalf of a respected UK furniture manufacturer for an experienced Class 2 Driver to join their Doncaster-based delivery team.
This is a hands-on, physically active role delivering high-quality furnituremainly sofasto trade warehouses and retail outlets. This is not a two-person delivery job; you will be working solo, so confidence handling large, bulky items independently is essential.
The Role
* Driving a Class 2 box vehicle
* Delivering furniture (mostly sofas) to trade locations
* Up to 6 drops per shift, all within a local region
* Start times: 06:00 07:00
* Monday to Friday only no weekends or nights out
* All items on wheels for easy movement
* No stairs involved; access is generally straightforward
* Customers may assist with unloading, but you must be comfortable working independently
Requirements
* Minimum 12 months of Class 2 (Category C) driving experience
* Previous experience delivering furniture or similar large goods preferred
* Confident with manual handling and working solo
* Good communication and customer service skills
* Professional and reliable work ethic
