Duties
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and provide information to callers
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and faxing
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
Skills
- Strong clerical skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in computerized systems and software, including data entry and typing
- Administrative skills to assist with various office tasks
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Familiarity with office equipment such as printers, scanners, and copiers
This role requires a friendly and professional demeanour, as you will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers. The ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work independently is essential.
