Vehicle Technician – Main Dealer | Kidderminster
1. Location: Kidderminster
2. Salary: Up to £35,000 basic | OTE £45,000
3. Hours: Monday – Friday 08:30 – 17:00, with 1 in 3 Saturday mornings (paid at 1.5x)
4. Type: Full-Time, Permanent
A busy Main Dealer workshop in Kidderminster is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their skilled team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and qualified technician to work on a range of vehicles in a supportive and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities as a Vehicle Technician:
5. Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of vehicles to the highest standards.
6. Work efficiently independently and as part of a team.
7. Follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
8. Maintain quality workmanship and attention to detail at all times.
9. Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers as required.
10. Meet workshop targets and deadlines consistently.
Requirements for the Vehicle Technician Role:
11. Level 3 Certificate in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
12. Proven experience working in the automotive industry.
13. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
14. Full, clean UK driving licence.
15. No previous criminal convictions.
16. MOT licence beneficial but not essential.
