Job overview
The post holder will support a small team in driving forward the charity strategy, increasing awareness of the charity's work and working with supporters and volunteers raising funds to provide projects and equipment that enhance the experience of our staff, volunteers and patients.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will assist in all aspects of the charity process, including
1. Assisting in fundraising, grant applications and income-generating activities as appropriate
2. Working to support stakeholders in expenditure initiatives to support staff, volunteers and local communities in line with Charity objectives.
3. Supporting all stakeholder relationships (internal and external), dealing with queries in a timely manner
4. The management and upkeep of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database
5. Continuously raising charity awareness through communications, reporting and education means. Including showcase the range of innovative projects that the charity has supported, encouraging more applications, and raising the profile of our charity, both internally with staff and with our local communities.
6. As part of a small team, this varied role will also provide administrative support in the day to day running of the Charity.
7. Any other duties as may be required by the Head of Charity / Head of Financial Services.
8. There may be the requirement to travel to other organisational locations.
