Driving successful relationships

* Establish and build strong, trusted partnerships with clients and colleagues, ensuring GAIN is consistently delivering value, clarity and confidence.
* Show up with professionalism and presence every time, representing both yourself and GAIN at a high standard
* Build genuine, resilient relationships that give clients confidence their brands are in safe hands
* Contribute thoughtfully in meetings, adapting your input to the seniority and needs of the room
* Run the day-to-day of your accounts, ensuring workflows, communication and expectations are clear, timely and well-managed
* Capture actions and updates accurately, distilling information into clear next steps for teams and clients
* Build a brilliant team to lead your client: best fit, right skills (both in agency and for projects).
* Own the accuracy of everything clients see, checking, proofing and quality-controlling outputs
* Maintain organised, up-to-date client files, assets and documentation
* Keep close to your clients’ worlds including their activity, their competitors, their challenges and share relevant intel with your team
* Champion the bigger agency picture: how we align and grow other clients across the agency through cross and up-sell.
* Support, question and mentor the department
* Stay curious: share industry knowledge and emerging opportunities that strengthen our sector expertise
* Check everything that matters i.e. briefs, costs, timelines and raise improvements early and constructively


Strategic & creative involvement

* Actively contribute to the strategic direction of your client work in collaboration with the strategy and creative departments
* Collaborate with the strategy department to ensure the work answers the client brief and will deliver the very best work.
* Be the voice of the client and the customer throughout the process.
* Strive to help sell and deliver our most exciting work to date
* Partner with the creative and production departments to break new ground creatively with our clients and new business prospects
* Help excite and motivate both your team, the wider department and the broader agency with the joy of what we do


Commercials & growth

* In collaboration with Finance and Ops, support your manager with your client’s account
* Contribute to accurate forecasting and demonstrate clear understanding of billing plans
* Stay aware of budget conversations and elevate commercial issues quickly and appropriately
* Help deliver cost checks and reconciliations to keep projects on budgetComplete timesheets and expenses on time
* Develop well-researched, realistic cost estimates
* Coordinate timely job closure and address any overruns proactively
* Negotiate and manage third-party costs responsibly, including markup
* Raise POs promptly for freelance or production requirements


Delivery (in partnership with Production)

* Create the best possible conditions for success on brief, on time, on budget, making adjustments swiftly as required
* Ensure your client projects are run seamlessly
* Ensure case studies are developed at the end of relevant project to enable new business and marketing functions to benefit

* You’re an active, positive presence within the team and a role model for others
* Prioritise and manage your time effectively, aligning regularly with your team
* Solve problems with clarity and ownership, escalating when necessary
* Support and mentor junior colleagues – sharing knowledge, building capability and modelling best practice
* Work collaboratively and respectfully across departments
* Help maintain a healthy, supportive team culture where people can do your best work


REQUIREMENTS

* 7+ years experience in a progressive creative agency
* Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
* Strong organisational ability with calm, effective time management
* High attention to detail and a “right first time” mindset
* Commercially aware and financially confident
* Adaptable, composed and effective under pressure
* Personable, collaborative and able to influence at all levels
* Strong multitasking ability with rigorous follow-through
* Proactive, curious and enthusiastic about growing brands

The typical hiring range for this role is: £xxxxxx annually.
