About the Role
As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in our team, delivering personalized care packages to our residents in Southampton. Your work will directly impact their lives, helping them develop new skills and build trusting relationships.
What We Offer
* Full-time, Permanent Position

Unqualified Salary: £33,349.58 (including sleep-in shifts)
*
Qualified Salary (Level 3/4): Up to £35,935.36 (including sleep-in shifts)

Location: Southampton
*
Shift Pattern: 3-week rolling rota with 7 × 24-hour shifts (09:00-09:30 the following day), including sleep-ins. Enjoy 1 weekend off every 3 weeks!
Your Responsibilities
* Provide compassionate support to children and young people, promoting their welfare and safeguarding.
* Establish and maintain positive, trusting relationships with our residents.
* Work collaboratively within a team, accepting guidance and direction.
* Encourage the development of individual interests and skills.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience working with children and young people, with an understanding of the challenges they face.
* Willingness to work towards a Residential Childcare/Families Practitioner Diploma or equivalent (Level 3/4).
* A full UK driving license and access to a car for travel.
* Excellent communication and listening skills.
* A positive attitude towards learning and teamwork.
* Experience with Emotional Behavioral Disorder, Social/Residential Work, or Youth Work is a plus.
