As a Trade Assistant Construction all rounder at Blue Star Pools, you will be a key member of the team, providing vital support to our skilled tradespeople. This full‑time position is based in Welshpool and offers the opportunity to be involved in a wide range of construction and maintenance tasks. PLEASE NOTE: Applications only accepted through SEEK.
What you’ll be doing
* Assisting tradespeople with the installation, repair and maintenance of swimming pools and associated equipment
* Performing general labouring duties such as site preparation, material handling, and clean‑up
* Operating machinery and tools safely and effectively
* Following all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
* Maintaining high level of organisation and attention to detail in your work
* Contributing to a positive, collaborative team culture
What we’re looking for
* Must have own transport
* Live within 10km of Welshpool
* Some previous experience in a construction or maintenance role, ideally within the trades and services industry
* A keen interest in learning new skills and a willingness to take on a variety of tasks
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* The ability to follow instructions and work safely
* A positive, can‑do attitude and the desire to contribute to the success of the team
