We are on the lookout for a dynamic Team Member to assist with the preparation of food at Belfast's exciting new spot, Loaf Cafe, nestled in the iconic Ewart Building. In partnership with Deloitte, this isn’t just a job, it’s an opportunity to be at the heart of something extraordinary.
The Role
As a Food & Beverage Team Member you will assist with the preparation of food in Loaf Cafe at the Ewart and work with the team to produce an exciting brand which promotes healthy eating while creating training and employment opportunities for local people with learning difficulties.
1. Provide a range of quality beverages (espresso, cappuccino, latte, etc.)
2. Prepare and serve food orders according to recipes and quality standards.
3. Ensure high standards of hygiene across all work stations and organized workspace, including coffee machines and counters.
4. Follow all food safety regulations (HACCP, allergen control, etc.)
5. Ensure compliance with Food Hygiene and Health & Safety legislation.
6. Ensure cash is handled in line with organisation procedures.
7. Provide excellent customer service in line with Loaf’s Customer Charter.

Desired Criteria
* Knowledge and understanding of the needs of disabled people and a commitment to the equal rights
* Previous experience (paid or voluntary) of working in a busy catering environment.
Required Criteria
* Barista Trained
* Customer service – Friendly and efficient service.
* Food handling – Knowledge of hygiene and safety practices
* Cash handling – Accuracy in transactions and orders.
* Multitasking – Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
