Ten Live are currently recruiting on behalf of our industry-leading client for a Nightshift Warehouse Supervisor, based in Cumbernauld. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing team within a busy and physically demanding warehousing environment.
This is a hands-on supervisory role where you will be directly involved in leading a team of operatives to ensure daily operational and customer delivery targets are consistently met. You will support the management team and oversee a specific section of the warehouse function.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in running an efficient warehouse operation to meet both operational and customer demand
Oversee goods-in processes, including checking for damages or missing items
Ensure goods are stored correctly and dispatched accurately within the network
Lead and motivate your team, promoting a strong culture of teamwork and accountability
Identify and resolve issues on shift where possible, escalating when necessary
Uphold manual handling standards and promote safe working practices across the team
Skills, Experience and Attributes:
Previous supervisory experience within a warehouse or logistics environment
Strong leadership and people management skills
Ability to motivate, support, and develop team members
Clear and confident communication skills
Good understanding of customer service standards and the impact of operational failures
High attention to detail and an organised approach to work
FLT (Counterbalance) experience preferred, but not essential
Additional Information
Own transport is essential due to the site location
Temp-to-perm opportunity with a permanent contract available after 12 weeks
Nightshift: Sunday to Thursday or Monday to Friday, 00:00 08:00
