Salary: Dependent on experience (part-time considered)
A proudly independent, long-established veterinary group in West Yorkshire is seeking an experienced General Practitioner Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly and supportive team.
The Role
* Full-time or part-time considered (4–5 days per week or pro-rata).
* Weekend rota: 1 in 4 Saturday day shifts or 1 in 9 full weekend day shifts.
* OOH: Late shift (10:15 am – 8:15 pm) every two weeks; no overnight on-call.
* Varied caseload including consultations, routine and non-routine surgery, imaging, and dentistry.
* Excellent support from experienced colleagues across multiple disciplines.
* Opportunity to contribute to clinical discussions, mentoring, and service development.
Candidate Requirements
* Experienced small animal GP vet with confidence in all aspects of routine medicine and surgery.
* Demonstrated loyalty and commitment to previous practices or teams.
* Ideally has local ties to West Yorkshire or a strong desire to settle long-term in the area.
* Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, able to build trust with clients and colleagues alike.
* Team player who values collaboration, mutual respect, and a supportive culture.
* Committed to delivering high clinical standards and providing excellent patient care.
* Comfortable within a busy independent environment with genuine clinical freedom.
