Salary: £38,760 Hours: 35 per week

About the Role
Were looking for a driven and knowledgeable Investment & Compliance Surveyor to support the delivery of planned investment and statutory compliance programmes across the housing portfolio. Youll play a key role in ensuring homes are safe, compliant and well maintained, working closely with contractors, consultants and colleagues across the business.
This is a varied role involving site inspections, contractor management, compliance delivery, data assurance and technical advice. If you are passionate about safety, high standards and delivering for customers, wed love to hear from you.

What Youll Be Doing
* Supporting the Asset Manager in contract administration and overseeing planned investment works.
* Delivering key compliance programmes including:
o Fire Risk Assessments & Fire Door Inspections
o Legionella Risk Assessments and water hygiene monitoring
o Asbestos re-inspection programmes
o Passenger lift & automatic door servicing
* Monitoring remedial actions, contractor performance and certification to ensure full legal compliance.
* Maintaining accurate asset management data, asbestos registers and KPI reporting.
* Procuring and managing consultants, suppliers and contractors.
* Preparing technical specifications, tender documents and quotations.
* Carrying out post-inspections, resolving defects and ensuring value for money.
* Liaising with statutory bodies such as the HSE, Fire Authorities and Local Authorities.
* Undertaking surveys to support the stock condition database.
* Representing the organisation at resident meetings and working collaboratively across teams to deliver a customer-focused service.
* Providing technical advice to customers, colleagues and contractors.
What Were Looking For:Experience & Knowledge:
* Experience in a similar role within a Housing Association, public sector or not-for-profit environment.
* Strong background in building asset compliance, property services, construction or facilities management.
* Knowledge of landlord compliance responsibilities and construction technology.
* Ability to write specifications, prepare schedules of work and manage on-site projects.
* Understanding of CDM and Health & Safety legislation.
* Confident using housing management/CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
* Good understanding of value for money, contract management and modern procurement methods.
Qualifications
Essential:
* Minimum BTEC/HNC in Surveying, Construction or M&E
* P402 Asbestos Management Qualification
Desirable:
* Level 4 Fire Safety Management
* Level 4 qualification in asset compliance or facilities management (or equivalent experience)
* NEBOSH General Certificate
* BOHS P405 Management of Asbestos in Buildings
Other Requirements
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
* Able to work across sites with mobile working required
