Responsibilities Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations. Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting as required. Plan delivery routes efficiently to optimise time and fuel consumption. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance logs. Ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of the delivery vehicle. Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations during loading and unloading processes. Experience Previous experience as a delivery driver is essential, with a strong understanding of driving regulations. Experience in commercial driving is highly desirable. Familiarity with warehouse operations is an advantage. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Strong communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members.
