We have an exciting M&E Technician opportunity to join our Taw Valley Creamery site services team. This is especially exciting as the creamery is undergoing a major transformation, thanks to a £180 million investment. This role is responsible for developing and reviewing commissioning plans to ensure project objectives are met.
How would you add value
Maintaining services across the site in line with our Planned Preventative Maintenance programme and provide corrective maintenance in case of site equipment failure and breakdown across the following; Steam boiler, Waste Heat Boiler and CHP checks and testing in line with legal requirements, Refrigeration plant, Effluent Treatment Plant, Hot & Cold water systems, Cooling tower maintenance, HVAC maintenance.
To work alongside the OEMs when services are carried out.
Challenge current processes and practices to identify new opportunities to improve operation and efficiency
Conduct equipment and plant condition appraisals.
Awareness of relevant QEHS compliance within the role such as Legionella, fire safety, PSSR, LOTO.
Authorise permits and ensure the work is being carried out in a safe and controlled manner.

Time served apprentice within a relevant discipline (such as mechanical or electrical)
A positive and resilient approach to problem solving, team working, and continuous improvement
You will need to have previous work experience within a similar sector such as building ser-vices or facilities management
Suitable industry experience could also include water treatment, industrial facilities management, anaerobic digestion, commercial shipping or facilities maintenance

Our Taw Valley Creamery was established in 1974 and it has been a significant site for cheese production in the UK, and it has undergone various developments and expansions over the years to improve its capacity and capabilities in cheese making.
We process approximately 1.2 million litres of milk daily; producing over 100t of award winning cheeses, such as BOB, Castello Tickler, alongside butter and whey powder
