You will be expected to travel across the Trust footprint at short notice and travel within a reasonable timeframe.
Primary purpose of the role is to provide line management ongoing teaching, support, advice and guidance to learners.
Build and maintain good working relationships with workplace supervisors/assessors and monitor progress to ensure retention and achievement.
Liaise with HEI and relevant supervisors/assessors and managers to discuss any lack of progress or problems and develop action plans to resolve issues.
Ensure that education frameworks, guidelines and regulations are followed by learner and relevant supervisor/assessor.
Monitor and report on the quality of HEI support to ensure that the needs of Pennine Care and/or professional/regulatory bodies are met. Engage with quality assurance procedures as required to ensure that the Trust's external standards are met.

To contribute to the Education and Workforce teams work plans to improve overall Trust performance and effectiveness.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
* Nursing Associate Foundation Degree or apprenticeship /equivalent with post qualification experience
* Registered with the NMC
* Have completed the preceptorship programme
* Willingness to study and obtain an externally recognised national trainers L&D award.
Desirable criteria
* Degree Registered Nurse
* L&D qualification
* ECDL
Experience
Essential criteria
* Experience of teaching / training adults formally and informally - To groups of varying size - To groups of varying seniority - Sessions of varied duration
* Experience of working professionally as a registered nurse or nursing associate with post qualification experience
* Experience of supporting junior members of staff and/or Student Nursing Associates
* Evidence of advocating for the role of the Nursing Associate locally and/or Nationally
Desirable criteria
* Experience delivering prewritten training materials
* Experience of delivering training: -- On varied subject matter - At varied difficulty levels
* Experience of working in clinical environments – mental health/ community, clinics/specialist services
