Position: Fault-Finding Service Engineer (Intercom & Access Control)\nLocation: North West London (Field-Based)\nContract Type: Sub-Contractor / Self-Employed\nDay Rate: From £250 per day\nPayment: Weekly (Every Friday)\nStart Date: Immediate\n\nAbout the Role\n\nWe are seeking a skilled and reliable Fault-Finding Service Engineer to support our residential client base across North West London. This is a contract role, ideal for an engineer with strong experience in intercom and access control systems. The work involves fault-finding, servicing, and minor installations on residential blocks and developments.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Diagnose and resolve faults on intercom and access control systems\n\n * Carry out routine servicing and minor installation works\n\n * Work independently across multiple sites in North West London\n\n * Maintain clear communication with the office team and complete all job documentation\n\n * Submit expenses in line with company policy\n\nSystems in Use\n\nApplicants should have experience with some or all of the following systems:\n\n * BPT\n\n * Videx\n\n * Paxton\n\n * Fermax\n\n * Comelit\n\nExperience with fire alarm panels (e.g.
C-Tec, Kentec) is advantageous but not essential.\n\nRequirements\n\n * Proven experience working on intercom and access control systems, particularly in a service or fault-finding capacity\n\n * Full set of own tools and suitable transport\n\n * Ability to travel and work across North West London on a daily basis\n\n * Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills\n\n * Valid right to work in the UK
