Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. Your responsibilities will include planning engaging activities, supporting children's development, and fostering positive relationships with both children and their families.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development.
* Supervise and engage with children in a safe and caring manner.
* Monitor children's progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians.
* Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming nursery environment.
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for children.
* Support the emotional and social development of each child.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the nursery setting.
Skills :
* Previous experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential.
* Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
* Ability to build rapport with children, parents, and colleagues.
* A passion for childcare and commitment to fostering children's growth in a nurturing environment.
