Overview
Brentford FC Community Sports Trust is seeking a fun, enthusiastic and dedicated Mini Bees Coach to deliver high-quality football-themed sessions to pre-school children (ages 2-6) as part of our Mini Bees programme. The programme aims to introduce young children to football through exciting, imaginative and engaging activities that support their physical, social and emotional development in a safe, inclusive and enjoyable environment. This role requires availability on Saturday mornings between 08:30am and 1:00pm. Additional midweek hours may be available for those who are interested, as well as opportunities to work across different programmes such as School Sport and Community Football Development.
* Plan, deliver, and review fun, age-appropriate football-themed sessions for pre-school children (ages 2-6).
* Create a welcoming, safe and inclusive environment where children can develop fundamental movement skills, teamwork and confidence.
* Ensure sessions are imaginative, engaging, and tailored to the needs of young children and their families.
* Build positive relationships with children, parents and carers, providing clear communication and feedback.
* Ensure all equipment is available, set up and well maintained for each session.
* Maintain accurate registers, risk assessments and any relevant reporting documents.
* Access and participate in staff training and CPD opportunities offered by the Trust.
* Report any safeguarding concerns promptly to the safeguarding team.

Requirements
* Minimum Introduction to Coaching Football qualification.
* Previous experience in coaching pre-school age children
* FA Safeguarding certificate.
* FA Emergency Aid certificate.
* Current DBS.
Desirable
* UEFA C Coaching qualification.
* FA Youth Modules
* Computer Literate (Microsoft Office)/ IT skills
* Full UK driving licence and access to a car

* Energetic, creative and able to make football fun and accessible for very young children.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage both children and parents.
* Excellent organisational and planning abilities.
* Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with the latest early years and coaching methodologies.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Flexible to work Saturday mornings (mandatory), with the option of taking on additional midweek hours if desired.
