Job Purpose

Work with a cross‑functional team of sales, business development and tendering engineers to support the sales order process. Manage customer interface from initial enquiry to order delivery, handling complex orders with time‑critical delivery requirements and varied contractual obligations. Coordinate and progress through internal departments to meet and exceed customer expectations, deadlines, internal targets, and provide exceptional service.

Job Dimensions

The role is based at Sowerby Bridge with occasional UK travel.


Key Accountabilities

* Receive complex customer orders and manage the internal contract review process.
* Identify and monitor terms and conditions, highlighting and escalating as required.
* Ensure all order or contract elements are achieved and internal procedures followed.
* Own the end‑to‑end order process, engage customers regularly, and work with internal teams to resolve issues.


Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience

* Proven experience coordinating complex customer orders.
* Experience working in a busy office environment.
* Contract management.
* Delegation skills.
* Problem solving and troubleshooting.
* Degree level education or equivalent.


Behavioural Competencies

* IT literacy with excellent Microsoft Office (including D365) knowledge.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels.
* Highly organized with good time‑management and attention to detail.
* Tenacious and willing to go the extra mile where required.
* Self‑driven, able to work independently and collaboratively.
* Build good relationships with internal/external customers.
* Strong “customer comes first” focus.
