We are seeking a Permanent, Full‑time Shop Manager to operate our charity shop located at Unit 3 Retail Park, Parr Bridge Works, Mosley, Tyldesley, M29 8RZ.
Pay Range
Base pay: £13.64 per hour (£26,669.61 per annum). Pay will be based on experience and skills within the provided range.

Role Details

ExtraCare does not participate in the current “UK Visa Sponsorship” scheme and cannot facilitate sponsorship. This role requires a satisfactory enhanced DBS disclosure, two references, medical clearance and Home Office right to work clearance.
Responsibilities
* Raise money through the store to support retirement villages and community activities for older people.
* Operate the shop autonomously employing innovative initiatives to deliver an excellent customer experience.
* Lead and develop a‑time deputy manager.
* Recruit and train a highly motivated volunteer team.
* Deliver sales and profit budget targets.
* Maintain high merchandising standards.
* Promote the shop’s work in the local community.
Qualifications
* Previous managerial or supervisory experience in retail.
* Demonstrable track record of delivering results.
* Proven experience recruiting, training, and developing a motivated team.
* Retail instinct and creative skills to generate donations.
* Hands‑on leadership approach.
* Energetic, enthusiastic, and a team player.
* Experience in the Charity sector (desirable).
