We’re growing fast and are looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join our finance team. The Role As our new Accounts Payable Assistant, you’ll play a key part in ensuring the smooth and accurate running of our finance operations. You’ll be responsible for managing invoices, supporting payment runs, and helping streamline the accounts payable function. This role is ideal for someone who’s methodical, detail-oriented, and thrives in a busy, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Entering invoices into Sage Accounting Software Ensuring all invoices are appropriately approved via Purchase Orders Generating and processing weekly payment runs Completing bank reconciliations and preparing Bank Rec Reports Managing the shared finance mailbox and responding to supplier queries Assisting the Management Accountant with accruals and prepayments Supporting audit preparation and documentation requests Helping to streamline and improve the accounts payable process Preparing and posting month-end journals Maintaining the recharges spreadsheet and producing quarterly invoicing About You You’ll bring a proactive and positive approach to your work, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional accuracy.
