What is great about the role? This is an opportunity to have a key administrative role to play as part of the transaction team within Cashbook. You will be working closely with colleagues across the business. You will have varied tasks, and no two days will be the same your role will include; Posting of journals to ledgers. Dealing with cash, cheque and automated bank transfers (BACS etc) for the Group. Daily Bank Reconciliations. Liaising and maintain relationships with group members. Providing information for the management accounts and reporting for statutory accounts at year end including accruals and prepayments. The Finance Team sits within our Finance and Governance function and is led by the Finance Director. In this role, you will report directly to the Finance Officer - Cash & Accounts Receivable and be a key member of the financial transactions and systems team. What skills and experience do you need? You’ll have a love for working with numbers and excellent numeracy skills An ability to use a methodical approach to handling data from various sources Experience of working with computerised accounting and on line banking systems The ability to work on different software packages to enable verification of data received Knowledge and experience of working with Excel The desire to build positive relationships with people and to deliver a service in line with our values What are the pay and benefits? Time off and Flexibility This role will primarily be worked on Thursdays and Fridays 26 days holiday, plus Bank holidays.
