A warm, one-form-entry Church of England primary in Barnet is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Reception Teacher to join their dedicated team from December 2025, working Monday to Thursday. What You Will Do
• Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality early years provision in line with the school’s vision
• Create a safe, stimulating, and responsive learning environment where every child feels valued
• Differentiate for diverse learners (including children with additional needs or EAL)
• Liaise with parents and carers to build strong partnerships in children’s learning
• Work alongside colleagues and leadership to ensure continuity across early years
Who You Are
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in EYFS / Reception
• Confident in early literacy, phonics, early number sense, and child-led learning
• Skilled at building warm, positive relationships with children and families
• Organised, reflective, and responsive to children’s needs
• Shares a commitment to the school’s inclusive Christian ethos
