This respected and growing firm in Henley is looking for a Mixed Tax Assistant Manager to join their collaborative and high-performing tax team. You'll take the lead on a diverse portfolio of clients across personal and corporate tax, manage workflow, support junior staff, and play a hands-on role in advisory projects.
Whether you're CTA qualified or nearly there, this is a brilliant opportunity to move into a more senior role without losing the balance that matters.
What you'll be doing:
* Managing a varied tax portfolio (HNWIs, OMBs, SMEs)
* Reviewing compliance work: personal tax, corporation tax, P11Ds, PSAs, ATED, ERS etc.
* Contributing to advisory and planning work alongside senior leaders
* Supporting junior team members and overseeing day-to-day workflow
* Working closely with the accounts and audit departments on shared clients
* Liaising with HMRC and handling technical tax queries

* Strong UK tax compliance background
* Confident communicator with good client-facing experience
* Someone who enjoys mentoring and has a proactive mindset
