We have an exciting opportunity for a Property Project Manager to join our Retail team on a 6 month fixed term basis. You role will be to implement and manage new/current store refresh and refurbishment projects as required by the business working within all guidelines and completion targets, managing within all financial and non-financial areas within the stores/sites to achieve full project completion.
You will be managing corporate rollouts including building the project business case for store implementation, defining, and tracking project management plans and managing and solving problems, risks, and issues.
You will lead and manage the project, and colleagues assigned to projects. This includes effective rotas in place and following structured objectives and critical path action plans including visiting sites to sign off and measuring performance completion.
This role is Field based and will require frequent travelling to cover all our stores across the UK.

3. Come up with new ideas/Solutions by finding opportunities and by solving business challenges around space and layouts, working with others in the wider business team on shaping and agreeing space requirements instore.
4. Once project is agreed communicate with all stakeholders and ensure regular effective communication is being delivered.
5. Place/Review Equipment requirements with all stakeholders, to ensure satisfactory completion and within signed off Cost budgets.
6. Track and audit costs processed on projects to ensure effective Use of Budget and correct alignment with cost centres in conjunction with Regional Manager team.
7. Complete effective Business Plan approach completing visits out in the field
8. Managing the projects either individually or through the team to deliver the agreed plan, this is done through communicating, coaching, and agreeing actions with key stake holders.
9. Effective rotas in place and following structured objectives and critical path action plans including Visiting sites to sign off and measuring performance completion.
10. Maintain good cost controls and be able to demonstrate good accounting for all stakeholders through an effective cost tracker, to be shared with Senior Stakeholders and wider Team.
11. Thinking innovatively and identifying new opportunities and best practice to resolve issues to implement the plan.
12. Be onsite supporting and coaching of the project team or Team colleagues assigned to the projects to ensure we successfully ensure delivery.
13. Daily/Weekly Communication skills being able to adjust for the audience, this is for both written and verbal communication including regular Team’s meetings and onsite visits. Attend and contribute to company activities, promotions, and conference calls.
14. Resolving issues and minimise risk by taking corrective measures. Keeping a solution focused manner when investigating problems.
15. Visiting sites with Operations Director, Head of Property, Regional Managers, and contractors to review and agree actions.
16. Run project team meetings to agree update and review progress.
17. Writing or reviewing project management docs (including store drawings, trackers, risk management documents critical paths).
18. Update trackers and rollout planners weekly to ensure fully up to date and shared with Stakeholders.
19. Scope projects fully when required and agree implement
20. Visiting stores to observe the progress and completion of the project to ensure we stay on track.
21. Communicate repairs and planned maintenance requirements back to the head of Maintenance and construction to ensure no break in service delivery and in line with monthly budgets.
