Description BUDEHAVEN COMMUNITY SCHOOL Valley Road, Bude, Cornwall EX23 8DQ Communities’ Schools’ Trust 1164 on roll with 118 in the Sixth Form Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for Social, Emotional and Mental Health support Salary: Cornwall Council Grade F (£25,250 – £28,142 pro rata per annum). Permanent contract 31 Hours per week, term time plus five INSET days. This exciting opportunity has arisen as we are growing our SEND provision in school, and as such, we have created this role to ensure all our students receive the best possible support. You will work within a supportive school environment that truly values the roles within the Learning Support team. The successful candidate will work under the instruction/ guidance of the SENDCo to undertake work/care/support programmes, to enable access to learning for pupils with Cognition and Learning needs, including Dyslexia. Do you recognise yourself as having strong communication skills, patience and understanding?
