Protocol Education are looking to appoint an innovative and dynamic teacher to assist in taking Science forward at a school in Shropshire.
The school is seeking a Science specialist to join their department to deliver to KS3 & KS4. Responsibilities include managing a tutor group, planning & marking, with allocated PPA time, and optional extracurricular activities.
ECTs are encouraged to apply, alongside experienced teachers, within a supportive department comprising leaders, ECTs, and experienced staff.

Role: Science Teacher (Secondary, KS3-KS4)
Location: South Shropshire (easy commute from Shrewsbury, Church Stretton, Ludlow, Hereford, and Kidderminster)
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 3:30 pm (part-time applicants are encouraged to apply)
Start date: Monday, 2nd September
Qualifications: PGCE with QTS/QTLS (non-QTS, lecturers, BA/MSc in Science, and Science Specialists are encouraged to apply)

Pay rates include statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary role, with potential for permanency later. Safeguarding checks are conducted in line with DfE guidance, including possible online searches. We offer free safeguarding and Prevent Duty training. All candidates must have or obtain a valid enhanced DBS check and subscribe to the DBS Update Service.
