About The Role What you’ll do Identify, evaluate and secure new B2B distribution opportunities, with a core focus on HR teams, employee-benefit providers, brokers and workplace-wellbeing partners. Build and manage a robust outbound pipeline of employers and benefit partners, including market mapping, prospecting, outreach, pitching and negotiation. Lead the end-to-end process of onboarding new employer partners, ensuring smooth coordination with product, marketing and operations. Support the development and scaling of Emma’s employee-benefits offering, from lead generation through to closing and maintaining key commercial relationships. Work with internal teams to design go-to-market strategies for Emma for Employers, including packaging, pricing, positioning and rollout. Develop and track commercial performance metrics, producing analysis and recommendations for leadership to improve conversion and revenue performance. Drive cross-functional projects to ensure repeatable, scalable processes as the B2B channel expands. What We’re Looking For At least 2 years’ experience in business development, partnerships, B2B sales or a similar commercial role within a startup, scale-up, HR tech, fintech or employee-benefits environment. Clear evidence of generating pipeline, closing deals or launching commercial initiatives with measurable impact. Strong organisational and project-management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple workstreams and stakeholders. Confident communicator with strong relationship-building abilities, comfortable speaking with HR directors, benefit managers and senior stakeholders. Motivated by what we are building at Emma and interested in financial wellbeing, budgeting and workplace financial benefits. A proactive, energetic mindset with the persistence to open doors and move deals forward. Attention to detail, curiosity, and a drive to experiment and learn.
