Bring your skills as a Principal River Engineer, playing a key role in river engineering and flood defence on Transformational Programmes for critical UK infrastructure, with opportunities to work on iconic projects both domestically and internationally.
We specialise in all aspects of river engineering across sectors such as Water, Aviation, Defence, Energy, and Cities & Development. We deliver industry-leading river engineering and flood defence solutions throughout the project lifecycle, including client-side support and construction phases. Opportunities are available in our offices located in Epsom, Peterborough, Bristol, Exeter, Swansea, Birmingham, and Manchester.
Your Purpose:
* Lead a team in technical design work adhering to relevant standards and high-quality benchmarks.
* Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals.
* Manage time and budgets effectively to meet project milestones.
* Collaborate with UK and overseas teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
* Maintain quality assurance standards in design processes.
What you can bring:
* Chartered Civil Engineer or equivalent qualification.
* Experience leading design delivery, including multidisciplinary projects.
* Knowledge of flood walls, embankments, weirs, hydraulic structures, culverts, scour protection, access, and construction logistics.
* Familiarity with UK design standards, guidance, and practices.
* Proficiency in delivering both traditional and environmentally focused, nature-based solutions.
