Your new role Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will take ownership of the accounting function for the largest division within the group. This is a varied and fast-paced role offering significant responsibility and the opportunity to contribute to financial strategy and operational efficiency. Key responsibilities will include: Preparation and interpretation of monthly management accounts Completion of VAT returns and all year-end processes Managing day-to-day accounting activities including sales and purchase ledger, bank reconciliations (multi-currency), credit control and stock accounting Implementing and enhancing financial controls and best practice processes Supporting foreign exchange activities and managing currency exposure Cashflow forecasting and management Supervising and supporting junior finance team members Producing monthly management reports, including key KPIs within strict deadlines Leading budgeting and forecasting processes What you'll need to succeed To be considered for this role, you will bring:Essential: Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA) Minimum 2 years’ post-qualified experience (industry or practice) Strong working knowledge of Sage 200 and advanced Excel skills Experience working in a multi-currency environment Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently High attention to detail with a proactive and flexible approach Desirable: Previous supervisory or team leadership experience Knowledge of tax compliance What you'll get in return This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation offering: Competitive salary and benefits package Hybrid working 30 days annual leave plus additional long-service entitlement Christmas shutdown period Exposure to international markets and complex global operations A dynamic, collaborative and fast-paced working environment Opportunities for professional growth and development What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
