In this role you will be a leading and integral part of our Environment Team, delivering environmental assessments and consents workstreams for some of the largest, most complex projects in Ireland and Northern Ireland for clients including Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII), Irish Rail, National Transport Authority (NTA), Uisce Eireann, EirGrid, local authorities, IDA, NI Water, and Translink.
Your Impact
* Play a key role in Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and Consenting delivery
* Facilitate the production and delivery of key EIA deliverables for Nationally Significant Projects supporting Development Consent Order applications
* Lead a multidisciplinary team, providing guidance to EIA coordinators and subject‑matter experts, identifying, managing and mitigating risks to project delivery
* Ensure governance and compliance management of relevant environmental legislation and policy
* Manage stakeholder engagement across all aspects of the sustainability, environmental and consenting processes
* Maximise opportunities for efficiencies and promote innovation throughout the EIA lifecycle
* Provide mentorship and support to ensure the technical and personal development of colleagues
Here’s What You’ll Need
* A proven track record in the lifecycle management and delivery of EIAs
* A sound blend of knowledge across Water Utility, Water Resource Management, other utilities or Flood Risk industries
* A demonstrable track record of developing and delivering sustainable consenting solutions
* Thorough knowledge of consenting processes
* Preferably, chartered status and full membership of a recognised professional body (e.g. ISEP, CIWEM, IES)
* Extensive experience in environmental assessment and regulatory compliance
* Strong leadership and project‑management experience, with a demonstrable commitment to health, safety, security, inclusivity, and innovative thinking to improve project and legacy outcomes
