Stock Controller Assistant
Main Duties
The assistant will be supporting the Stock Controller with general administration duties within the office, with sometime in the warehouse required.
Key Skills
• Checking in of inbound deliveries, checking of delivery notes against purchase orders and accuracy of deliveries being booked onto the system. Raising queries with suppliers in a timely manner.
• Responsible for accurately matching delivery notes against invoices and querying any discrepancies.
• To manage the physical locations of all SKU’s.
• To ensure weekly stock takes are carried out in line with policy.
• Investigate and report on discrepancies, losses and damages.
• Responsible for controlling best before dates of all stock and minimising write offs.
• Delivery ticket confirmations and credits where required, plus any ad-hoc cashier duties.
• Manage and clear all outstanding stock issues.
• Order taking for telesales and assisting in answering telephones.
Knowledge and Experience:
• Experience in the drinks industry desirable but not essential.
• Use of Microsoft Excel for spreadsheets and records.
• Stock control experience desirable.
• Knowledge of ‘Trinity’ systems.
• Accuracy when checking data and keeping records.
• Good teamwork skills, with office staff as well as drivers and warehousing staff.

Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm
