O&M Project Manager Role
Our client is hiring an Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Project Manager to join their O&M Support team. Based in Slough, this role involves approximately 50% travel across UK sites and international locations including Zurich, Abu Dhabi, Rome, and Casablanca.
You’ll play a key role in supporting high-performance operations across all O&M sites. This includes bridging the gap between tender management and plant mobilisation, improving documentation and reporting, and driving continuous improvement strategies.
O&M Project Manager Responsibilities
* Manage O&M contracts during the pre-mobilisation phase
* Support documentation, reporting, and sharing of best practices across the O&M organisation
* Develop templates and tools to meet system and operational requirements
* Lead workshops to define and document O&M and continuous improvement strategies
* Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure project success
O&M Project Manager Background
* Strong understanding of O&M operations and commercial/financial acumen
* Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
* Experience in Energy from Waste or other power plant environments (preferred)
* Proven leadership and project management skills
* High proficiency in IT systems and administrative tools
* Ability to work effectively in matrix organisations
* Excellent communication and influencing skills
* Safety-focused mindset
* Fluent in English; other languages are a plus
O&M Project Manager Benefits
* £70,000 - £85,000 Base DOE
