Outstanding opportunity to appoint a Ground Support Engineer / HGV Technician at Manchester Airport (MAN).
This vastly stable, global organisation seeks a skilled Technician to join a friendly and dedicated team working on a variety of automotive and ground service / support equipment.
Responsibilities
* Conduct planned, preventive maintenance and service on a range of equipment.
* Perform repairs on automotive and ground support equipment, ensuring high safety and reliability standards.
* Support day‑shift operations Monday to Friday, with potential for 4 on 4 off day‑shift schedules.
Qualifications
* Minimum of one year post‑apprenticeship experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
* City & Guilds or NVQ equivalent automotive qualifications.
* Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and/or electrical systems.
* Ex‑military experience (REME, Royal Engineers, etc.) is highly desirable.
* Experience as an automotive mechanic, automotive engineer, light or commercial automotive engineer, PSV/HGV technician/engineer/ mechanic, plant engineer / mechanic, or similar roles is valued.
