The Role
As the dedicated PLC Programmer, you will play a key part in automation and new product integration:
Program PLCs in ladder logic to control waterjet cutting machinery
Create, optimise and maintain cutting programs for new and existing products
Support new product introduction into full-scale production
Improve machine utilisation, cycle times and reliability
Work cross-functionally with manufacturing, quality, engineering, and operations
Troubleshoot control issues and continuously enhance system performance
You will not be desk-locked expect hands-on interaction with equipment and real engineering impact on the shop floor.
You Will Bring
Were open on sector background, but your PLC skills must be strong and proven.
Advanced PLC programming capability
Exposure to manufacturing automation, robotics or industrial controls
Ability to diagnose, fault-find and improve control systems
A collaborative, solutions-focused approach
Good grounding in manufacturing processes (any industry considered)
Waterjet experience isnt required full process familiarisation will be provided.
